Come and pause with us. Join women from across the region for a sacred weekend set apart to rest, reflect, and abide in the presence of God. Through worship, scripture, and stillness, “Pause in His Presence” invites you to slow down and be refreshed as we make room for the Holy Spirit to move in our hearts.

Last year, we had the incredible opportunity to partner with Gather Women to host Gather: FLOURISH in Mississauga. It was a powerful time together as we dove deep into Psalm 119, worshipped, and encouraged one another in our faith journeys.
This year, our focus has expanded to Muskoka and beyond, and we are so excited to continue creating space for women to rest, reflect, and connect. Pause in His Presence is more than an event—it’s a sacred invitation to slow down, abide in God’s presence, and be refreshed by His Word.

Absolutely! Many women come solo and find this event a welcoming space to meet others. But feel free to bring a friend—or a few! -

Hotels are nearby, making it easy to plan a restful weekend away.

Speakers

Stacey Weeks is a ministry wife and mother of three with graduate certificates in Women’s Ministry and Biblical Counselling from Heritage College and Seminary. She’s the author of several Christian Living titles, as well as contemporary romance and romantic suspense novels—all grounded in the hope and grace of Jesus.

Kim Hutchins is the founder and leader of Flourishing Together, a ministry that exists to encourage women to walk confidently in their God-given purpose. With over 30 years of experience in church and non-profit leadership, Kim is a gifted communicator, connector, and creative. She also hosts the Flourishing Together podcast, where she creates space for women to explore their identity in Christ and grow in their spiritual gifts. At Pause in His Presence, Kim will invite women to slow down, breathe deep, and encounter the peace and presence of God.

Robin Bemmann is an Educational Therapist and the Founder of Roots of Learning. With over six years of experience helping children and families navigate learning challenges, Robin brings both professional insight and a deep personal faith to everything she does. As a certified Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment practitioner, she is passionate about equipping others to thrive. Robin also has a heart for ministry, with past experience in worship leadership and youth work. At Pause in His Presence, she will share from her journey of learning to rest in God's presence and trust Him with every season.

Rachel Nichols is a lover of the outdoors, a passionate home cook, and a firm believer in the power of good conversation, especially around a kitchen table or over a great cup of coffee. She's an avid reader, a dedicated runner, and her daughters’ biggest cheerleader.
Rachel serves as the Women’s Ministry and Prayer Director at Forward Church in Cambridge, Ontario. She is deeply committed to helping women grow in their love for God and engage meaningfully with others in every stage of life. With a background in Leadership and a postgraduate certificate in Women in Ministry from Heritage College & Seminary, Rachel’s heart is to encourage and equip women on their discipleship journey.
She lives in Puslinch with her husband, Josh, their two daughters, and their two beloved dogs.

Nicky Schleihauf is an encourager, a connector, and a woman who deeply loves prayer. A wife, mother, and busy CEO, Nicky wears many hats—but her passion remains rooted in seeing others thrive. With over twenty years of church leadership experience, much of her ministry has focused on equipping and empowering women to walk boldly with God and respond to His call on their lives. Known as the “CEO Whisperer,” Nicky works with faith-based entrepreneurs, helping them grow sustainable, mission-driven businesses that glorify God. She is the founder of multiple businesses and is currently pursuing a Master of Theological Studies. Whether walking and praying on her property or gathering friends in her home, Nicky delights in creating space for others to flourish and connect with God.
